Over 12 ways to qualify for food benefits as a college student...

Have you heard of SNAP?  SNAP is a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program that provides food benefits to eligible individuals and families (including college students).  (Funded through DHS in cooperation with Oregon State University (OSU) Extension  Service).

Did you know there are over 12 ways you may qualify as a college student?
  • Are you 18+ years of age AND in school half-time (6 or more credits at COCC)?
  • Or are you over age 49, and attending college part-time?
  • Or are you 18+ years of age AND preparing for college in one of these programs; GED, Adult Basic Skills or ESL?
You may qualify under the student criteria!

To see if you may be income eligible - take a free prescreen at http://apps.state.or.us/fsestimate.
